The Ernest Cognacq museum, a former private mansion, is located in the heart of the Vauban fortifications, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The museum presents art and history collections (archives, models, ceramics, fine arts, archaeology) and offers the opportunity to discover the different facets of the Ile de Ré through its history from the first settlements to our times. days.
